Dear Editor – Who is optimistic to tell to the Prime Minister and the people of Solomon Islands that every single village in up on mountains down in deep valleys and atolls are all equally provided with public and social services?
The Solomon Islands is now 37 years from independence what is the transparency of Public Services for a change? Is there a special program on the floor of parliament with clear map that shows a big change of better or worst?
How much money from taxpayers and foreign aids had been spent on government various services to the people of S.I and how much on government payrolls?
Could the financial minister explain in a public circular of a four years spending by a particular government of the day? The Financial Minister must be busy with transparency of four years term spending and put it in either public circulars or in Solomon Star and Island Sun Newspapers.
The people of Solomon Island must know every spending of a four years term so that a government with opportunism and corruption is not repeated. Today there is no improvement to be better in rural livelihood.
A program should be organised that before the end of a four years term a special census on public services and including foreign social and general services be carried out for people’s transparency. Too many talking and promises but with no reality.
