THE Queen’s Young Leaders Discovery workshop will be hosted in Honiara on Monday next week.
Two members from Comic Relief will arrive on Sunday to lead the workshop.
The workshop will be held at the Solomon Kitano Mendana Hotel.
The Queen’s Young Leaders programme will be running grant schemes in six countries across the Commonwealth and Solomon islands is one of the countries selected.
The workshop aims to help the Queen’s Young Leaders Programme discover the strategic focus for our grants and the organisations that might work together to achieve this.
The discovery workshop will be a chance for the team to meet people and organisations from the Solomon Islands so that they can learn from them more about the context of young people.
The Queen’s Young Leaders programme was launched in Honiara.
The programme was established by the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust and run in partnership with Comic Relief and the Royal commonwealth society in honour of the Queen’s 60-years contribution to the commonwealth.
The workshop is expected to be attended by mix of organisations and various young people.
