Administrative issue to be sorted soon
SOLOMON Islands young football star, Raphael Lea’i, is yet to make his debut for his new team, FK Velež Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A report from Oceania Football revealed that the delay is due to some administrative issues regarding Raphael’s registration.
A FK Velez Mostar team staff member, Adnan Dizdarević told Oceania Football that Lea’i is still not fully registered to play in the recent Bosnia Cup match against HSK Posušje, which was scheduled to be played yesterday.
“There were some difficulties with the registration and I hope that next week it will be completed, and that Raphael will have the right to perform in the first round.
“Raphael is very popular in Mostar, everyone is waiting to see him on the field in an official match,” said Dizdarević.
The report has not highlighted what specific registration requirement is there for Raphael to complete.
It however stated that it is likely that the process will be complete within the next few days and Raphael will be available for the first national league match in Bosnia and Herzegovina against Tuzla City on February 26th.
He joined Velež Mostar in January 2023, following an impressive performance in his trial match with Velez Mostar.
