The Malaita Full Assembly finally met on Wednesday with the provincial member for ward one Malcolm Moli who is moving the motion of no confidence against Premier Peter Chanel Ramoia.
The Full Assembly meeting kicked off at 9am in the morning with a speech from the Premier Ramohia opening the assembly meeting.
The assembly went for lunch break and when the meeting resumes backs at 2 PM, Hon Moli moved the motion of no confidence against the MART boss premier Ramohia in the presence of the full assembly.
Hon. Moli after presenting the motion of no confidence, the provincial member for ward 31 Hon. Patrick Apua asked for an adjournment of the motion which majority of the assembly members agreed with his call which sees the motion adjourned for Thursday at 9am when the full assembly enters the second day of meeting.
Hon Apua asked for the adjournment to allow the leader of the MART ruling government premier Ramoihia and his executive to prepare their responses.
The Malaita Full Assembly will enter the second day of the meeting today with the motion of no confidence as the hot agenda for the day.
