A FATHER of six who had sex with his eldest daughter and tried raping another of his daughters will be sentenced today.
Justice Stephen Pallaras, QC, will hand down the sentence in the High Court.
The 41-year-old father has entered his guilty pleas in the Honiara Magistrate Court to three counts of rape and one of attempted rape.
He was then committed to the High Court for sentencing.
He committed the offences on his 17-year-old daughter on three occasions last year and once this year.
The father then tried to rape his 14-year-old daughter while she was sleeping in her room at their home in Isabel.
The wife of the accused and mother of the victims were in Honiara when most of the offences occurred.
The father was represented by Whitlam Togamae of Whitlam K Togamae Lawyers while Crown Prosecutor Nelson Dhita will appear for the state.
