A FESTIVE season games organized by Guadalcanal Provincial member for Paripao ward, Andrew Rayboy, ended successfully Wednesday this week.
Dubbed the “Niutenabuti Christmas & New Year games”, hundreds of people ranging from kids through to the old age took part.
The two weeks of fun and games kicked off on Thursday 24th December 2015 and ended this week. These include both night and day activities.
Games that were featured during the course of the event are made up mostly of locally designed that suits all ages.
According to the provincial ward member, this was one of the quiet and peaceful games to be hosted at his ward so far.
“The recent event that was organized in my ward was the best and peaceful one ever,” Rayboy said.
“I wish to thank the organising committee for their hard work in making sure that the games ended successfully,” he told Star Sports yesterday.
Rayboy also wishes to thank their Member of Parliament for North East Guadalcanal Dr Derek Sikua for his assistance towards the event, especially for the prizes.
Prize presentations were also conducted after the games closing and six winners are being awarded with prizes as well as consolation prizes to the participating teams and players.
