THE recruitment for the Miss Solomon Islands pageant is now open to interested females with a Solomon Islands Nationality.
This comes after the official launching of the event on Sunday by the organizer, Solomon Host and the platinum sponsor, Solomon Islands Ports Authority (SIPA).
A statement from the organizers said that all formalities for sponsorship have been completed already and the recruitment is now open.
“If you are a female between the ages of 18 – 26, single, never been married or given birth nor currently pregnant, interested to develop your confidence, public speaking skills, get involved in community building exercises and represent the Solomon Islands at the Miss South Pacific Pageant in Rarotonga, Cook Islands this year, please feel free to show your interest,” the statement said.
Solomon Hosts CEO, Joyce Konofilia told the Solomon Star during the launching that, interested females that wished to be part of the event can call in at their office on room 42 NPF plaza or email [email protected] for queries.
According to the event’s organizer, the crowning of Miss Solomon will be on Saturday 21st of November 2015.
Solomon Star was informed that, the Miss Pacific 2015 is being scheduled to take place at Raratonga, Cook Islands from the 6th – 12th of December 2015.
