AMERICAN reggae artists, J Boog and his stage associate SIAOSI said that they were honoured to be here in the Solomon Islands for the tour.
Both artists expressed this when interviewed by members of the local press, in a conference on Tuesday at the Heritage Park Hotel.
The Solomon Star understands that, SIAOSI has always been part of a couple of J Boog’s tours around the United States of America and also other places in the world.
J Boog said that, he only heard of Melanesia and not at any time been to the Solomon Islands before.
“The Solomon Islands reminds me of Fiji and Papua New Guinea anyway. It was full of smiles right at the airport and on our drive down to town.
“We’re just glad to be here,” J boog said.
“I am glad and blessed to be here,” SIAOSI shared similar thoughts.
Jamaican reggae sensation Conkarah also told members of the local press that, he is pleased to be back to the Hapi Isles again.
When asked if they have ever performed on a show together, J boog said that it was his first time to meet Conkarah.
“Music spreads wide. It’s gonna be nice,” J Boog told local reporters while describing their performance here.
“It’s always nice to see reggae artists come together from all different parts of the world to share the same vibes,” Conkarah said.
Meanwhile, J Boog said that he is looking forward to learn something from his tour here and also can’t wait to listen to local artists from the Solomon Islands.
