Renbel Ibis claimed their first three points in the Solomon Cup tournament after defeating Central Shields 1-0 in pool B’s second match at Lawson Tama Stadium, Thursday.
It was an evenly contested match and both teams had their chances to score but the ibis side managed to register their winning goal against the Shields side in the remaining four minutes of extra time.
Known for his amazing run in Rugby 7s, Lavenstar Puia scored a memorable late winner for Renbel Ibis against Central Shied.
Group B is still wide open as four teams are with a chance to qualify for the last four.
