President of the Renbel Football Association (RFA) Mark Victor Tekobi is urging his people of Rennell and Bellona to support Avaiki Chief in the upcoming Solomon Cup.
Tekobi stressed this to Sunday Star in an interview.
“I would like to appeal to my good people of Renbel to support our boys’ wheather it be in material or just a morale support to encourage our players,’’ he said.
Tekobi further said this is important not only for our soccer team but the rest of the athletes who will be representing Renbel province in the upcoming Solomon Games.
He said people’s support will definitely have positive impacts in their players’ performance in the competition.
Meanwhile, Tekobi said so far the Renbel contingent for Solomon Games has received several supports from few individuals.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge those who had already given their support towards the contingent,’’ he added.
