THE GOVERNMENT through the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MCT) yesterday reminded tourism recipients in Central Island, Malaita, Renbel and Guadalcanal provinces to provide acquittal reports of how they have spent their tourism funding to the Ministry.
Senior Tourism Officer responsible of these provinces Hudson Kaefia highlighted this when Green Tourism Solomon Island Ltd submitted its acquittal to the Ministry yesterday.
This year the Ministry had supported the Green Tourism Solomon Island Ltd with funding support which allowed the firm to carry out its awareness and inspections program in Central Province.
Mr Kaefia when receiving the acquittal thanked Green Tourism for their report.
“This year Green Tourism Solomon Ltd has been giving their progressive report and today (yesterday) they have provided their report again.”
On behalf of the Ministry he thanked the firm.
However he urged other operators who received similar funding support to retire their report.
Failure to so will result in the operators unable to receive any funding support next year.
