Communities in Ringi on Kolombnagara were so delighted to see their wharf constructed by Dalgro (SI) Ltd completed on time.
People were flooding down Ringi bay to see LC Marama loading off machines and materials on Saturday for the next wharf project at Keru, North New Georgia.
Indeed it was a mix feeling day for all Dalgro workers and communities in farewelling each other after been together for at least six weeks.
However Dalgro (SI) workers have to say good bye and leave for their next assignment.
What is now left for the community is waiting from responsible authorities in handing over of the wharf and start using it.
The communities would like to congratulate and thank Dalgro (SI) Ltd management, staff and workers for the professional work done to the wharf and more so for excellent behavior shown to communities throughout whole duration of project in Ringi Cove.
“Congratulation Dalgro keep it up”.
The wharf is being funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) with support from the Solomon Islands government.
Under the project a number of wharves will be constructed this year.
