Two young men including a 16 year-old (juvenile) who pleaded guilty to robbing a shop at King George area, East Honiara will be sentenced on July 29.
Deputy Chief Magistrate Shepherd Lapo told the accused yesterday that the defence counsels and prosecution had filed mitigation and sentencing submissions.
Hudson Billy Roboniu, 21, and the juvenile robbed Tuna shop located opposite the King George Sixth School on the afternoon of January 5, this year.
These two accused and three other men were armed with bush knives and attacked the Tuna shop owner and shop keepers.
They allegedly got away with about $10,000 in cash, 40 packets of Solbako and five sleeves of cigarette.
The total amount of properties stolen was more than $4, 000.
Those properties were never recovered and three suspects are still at large.
