Dear Editor – I was hesitant to respond to Mr Iroga’s response to my Letter to the Editor as printed by the Solomon Star in which I had advocated for Dr Rodgers to be the next PM.
I’m doing so now solely for one purpose and that is to sincerely and respectfully apologise to the dedicated and hardworking public servants working at the PMO especially the dedicated and hardworking Secretary to Cabinet and Secretary to PM.
Sirs please rest assured my use of the word “Stupid” in the said letter to the Editor was not directed at either of you or the other hardworking public servants that are currently serving in the PM’s Office.
Your hard work and dedication are well appreciated by every citizen and we wholeheartedly thank you for your excellent service to our nation.
Now that I have done this, I will humbly rest my case but perhaps doing so with a piece of advice to Mr Iroga: your ego and foolishness are self-evident every time you respond to commentaries made by citizens about the PMO.
You should take a moment to reflect before opening your mouth and sometimes listen.
Because then you may be able to realise that surely if every one is saying the same things about the PMO perhaps there are problems to be addressed.
And for goodness sake, tink tink good lelebti before you respond. Iu lo PM’s office man– the highest office in our land and what comes out of there in terms of policy output and commentaries should be commensurate with the status of that office.
It should not be the same as the stuff you hear discussed at the central market or betel-nut markets around Honiara.
And no MSG is not divided.
We are stronger and will be stronger going forward. You can be assured of that. As for you and the likes of you, please get out of the PM’s Office.
You are bringing shame to it.
