A loose stone claimed three lives over the weekend.
It rolled from a hill side onto a dwelling house and killed them.
It was reported they were playing cards on the verandah when the rock rolled down and hit them.
The dwelling house is situated behind the King George VI school area.
Two brothers from West Kwara’ae, Malaita province and their brother-in-law from Isabel province lost their lives following this unexpected tragedy on Friday night.
No further details of the tragedy, but neighbors believed the rock must have been loosened by recent heavy rains.
