The 2014 rugby season is all set to kick off next month.
This was agreed on by the executive of the Honiara rugby union association (HRUA) during a meeting held on Monday to confirm a date for the 2014 Rugby season.
In a statement yesterday the executive members have confirmed that the 2014 rugby season will open on June 7th.
This will start with a 10 a side knockout competition on Saturday the 7th of June.
Such as clubs are being given 3 weeks to have enough time to prepare for the opening round of matches which will follow after the knockout tournament.
All club team managers are asked to contact executives to confirm registration and participation for this knockout tournament and the 2014 rugby season.
Meanwhile a meeting is schedule for this Thursday 5:30pm at the SINU Kukum campus, department of Humanities classroom and all interested clubs are asked to send reps to this very important meeting.
A calendar of events for 2014 will be presented for discussion.
Clubs are asked to confirm 2014 participation during this meeting.
