THE High Court has deferred its ruling on the strike out application on the petition filed against the Member of Parliament (MP) for East Guadalcanal, Bradley Tovosia to September 18.
The ruling was earlier listed to be delivered on Wednesday afternoon.
However, Judge Augustine Aulanga deferred it to September 18 because the ruling was no yet ready.
The petition was filed by one of the unsuccessful election candidates Jessey Koli on one count of Bribery and one count of Undue Influence.
Wilson Rano of Rano & Company, who represents MP Tovosia, had previously told Solomon Star that they filed the application to strike out the petition because it was not properly pled.
The petitioner engages Gabriel Suri of Suri’s Law Practice.
