Navigating through the myriad exhibits and engaging activities, young Salus shared his aspirations with a passion that was palpable.
“I dream of becoming a civil engineer, Solomon Islands is young and still developing. We need skilled professionals like civil engineers to drive progress and build sustainable infrastructures for our nation’s growth.”
Guided by a keen sense of purpose and a desire to contribute meaningfully to the betterment of his family and nation, Salus exemplified the spirit of determination that permeated the USP new campus open day.
Across the vibrant displays and interactive sessions, students like Salus found inspiration and opportunities to explore their interests, fueling their ambitions for a brighter tomorrow.
‘’My favorite subjects in the class are mathematics and science. I love both of these subjects as I dream of becoming a civil engineer since my primary school years. This dream remains.
“I see that our capital needs more infrastructural improvements to change its look. Our population is rapidly growing and we need more infrastructures.
‘’There are many students like me out there who also have their dreams. It’s important to have a dream to inspire you to keep going and never give up. I am looking forward to studying here at new USP SI Campus.”
Salus said with the state-of-the-art facilities of the campus, it is crucial that current students take good care of them so that future students will continue to enjoy using them.
