Samoan urban reggae sensational Sam SAMMIELZ Leota commonly known on stage as SAMMIELZ has arrived ahead of the M JAM mother’s day concert at Heritage Park hotel this coming weekend.
SAMMIELZ will be performing with a full live band show along with other local M JAM artists like JAH Boy, JARO LOCAL, Ruff Neck, Bibao this mother’s day on Saturday 11th May at the Heritage park Hotel car park.
The show is also part of SAMMIELZ and JAH Boy Pacific tour which they started last week with a show in Vanuatu on Saturday 4th May before coming over to Solomon Islands for the MJAMs show this weekend.
SAMMIELZ is not new to music lovers here in the Solomon Islands as he has been here back in 2015 during the opening of the Coral Sea Casino and started collaborating with JAH BOY.
In an interview with the Solomon Star after his arrival yesterday the reggae sensational said he was amazed how his music is being loved by the people there.
“What I’m more amazed about Solomon Islands is how my music came here and the people have accepted it and I love it and not just the fans but the people out here were just amazing,” he said.
SAMMIELZ said that he is very excited to collaborate with Solomon Islands artists like JAH BOY since the style of music played by our local artists is quite similar.
“The style of music here in Solomon Islands is has its similarities compared to the Urban reggae style and Polynesian reggae.
“There is something about what created here in the Solomon Islands that affect other places like Jamaica for real,” said SAMMIELZ.
“I’m gonna make sure that the mothers here in the Solomon really enjoy their time this weekend so I encourage them to get a ticket and encourage everyone to come out lets enjoy the night together because there will be a crazy line up coming up for guys so get yourself a ticket and see there,” he said.
While here in the country the Reggae Sensational will also do some projects with the Rebelle Inc by collaborating with some of our local M JAM artists.
The concert was made possible through the collaboration of the Reggae Sensational with the Rebelle Inc records and Our Telekom M JAM together with the Heritage Park Hotel and a number of sponsors.
