THE reshuffling of Ministers rests upon the Prime Minister’s (PM) prerogative, and it is done with striving efforts by the government to improve things.
Media Consultant to Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Alfred Sasako revealed this early this week.
Sasako stated that reshuffle happens through consultation with Party Members and Ministers who will be affected, in terms of their work.
“Reshuffle happens when there is a need for it, like we need to improve certain areas in our work,” he said.
“This is part of government’s work,” he added.
He said, allegations of reshuffling might linked to personal interests of politicians is misleading, and such rumour will not help us move forward.
He further stated that reshuffling is part of government’s efforts to identify the best person with the capability to take up the portfolio deemed relevant to his/her experiences, skills and knowledge.
“We want to see the Minister with the optimum best,” Sasako stated.
