Kwaraea Community High School in West Kwara’e will today host their annual cultural day activity at the school compound.
This is second time in the history of the school to host such event.
Last year the school came up with an idea to revive culture and its importance for the students as a way of reviving the Malaita culture which is fastly displaced by the western culture and slowly disappearing.
In the event today, students of both primary and secondary will take part in the event with lots of cultural flavours is expected to be on show.
Last year the cultural event is a big success and this year the school students are aiming to show their culture with great pride.
The school which accommodates students from Kwara’ae, Fataleka and Baegu has lots of traditional flavor in stock for the audience.
The cultural event will give a chance to communities surrounding Kwarea school a chance to see the repeat of the last year’s successful and colorful cultural event.
