THE Low Price Enterprise men’s School Hockey League and Fiji FMF Biscuits women’s School Hockey League will resume next month.
Organizers of the league confirmed this to Star Sports on Wednesday.
“Currently the league is on hold due to school holiday, however we will resume our matches on the first week of August,’’ the statement said.
“The league will resume with quarter final matches on the first of August 2017,’’ it said.
Teams already qualified for the upcoming quarterfinals for men’s division are King George School, Koloale CHS, Florence Young, Vura CHS, St Joseph Tenaru School, St Nicholas College, Don Bosco and Selwyn College.
Quarter finalists of the women’s league are St Joseph Tenaru, St Nicholas College, Honiara High, Koloale CHS, Burns Creek, Don Bosco King George Sixth School and Selwyn College.
Meanwhile, the first quarter finals for the men’s category will feature King George VI and Koloale CHS on the 1st of August to be followed by their match between Florence Young and Vura CHS.
For women’s category, St Joseph Tenaru will take on St Nicholas in their first quarterfinals set for August 2nd 2017.
All quarter final matches will be played at the KGVI hockey ground, east Honiara.
