THE much awaited school results for the exam classes in the country last year has now finally been released.
Minister for Education and Human Resources Development (MEHRD) John Moffatt Fugui signed the release of the results, Monday.
Officials who witnessed the signing included Permanent Secretary (PS) of the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development, Franco Rhodi and the Under Secretary National Education Services Constance Nasi, and members of the local media.
The results are for 2016 Forms 1, 4, and 6 intakes.
The results will be published in the local newspapers starting today starting with the 2016 Form six placements.
Mr Rhodi also told the media that, they will also publish the e-copy of the document on the Ministry’s website in the coming days.
Ms Nasi the Under Secretary National Education Services who was present on behalf of the NESU Director also said that, the statistical findings from this year’s results will also be released before the end of this week.
“We could not able to do the statistical analysis of the results due to immense pressure from the Ministry to have the results ready by last Friday.
“But we will inform the public before the end of this week when the report is ready,” Ms Nasi said.
She added that the Ministry could not confirm yet when will the results for Form seven be released.
The Form 6 papers were set by the South Pacific Board for Educational Assessment (SPBEA) based in Suva, Fiji.
