FOLLOWING a three weeks Bible evangelism series organized by the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church which concluded on Saturday 1st August hundreds have surrendered their lives to Jesus through the water of baptism.
‘Truth For Today’ series was aired live on Telekom TV (TTV) each evening for an hour with the support from Hope Channel Solomon Islands.
Viewers from around Honiara, the provinces, region, and the world who managed to access TTV at the various downlink sites, TTV online, and Hope Channel Facebook were able to follow the presentations.
Throughout the three weeks Pr David Filo, Pr Vince David, and Pr George Fafale presented on a number of topics based on the Bible.
There were health talks being presented by doctors and health professionals working at the National Referral Hospital (NRH).
The exact number of those who have decided to join the Adventist faith through the water of baptism could not be confirmed by the paper.
Several baptisms were held throughout the country over the weekend with more baptisms.
