SOLOMON Islands national men’s football team will play international friendly match today in Singapore.
Solomon Islands will take on Singapore in their final international friendly match of their Asian tour scheduled for 10pm tonight.
Following their 4-1 defeat to Malaysia last week the national team is looking to regain some pride by getting a positive from today’s match.
The two teams have met in the past which ended in a 4-3 in favour of Singapore.
Solomon Islands must bring in their A game against Singapore if they are aiming for a win.
As national Coach Felipe Arango revealed prior to the Asian tour, Asian teams are tough and have a fast pace game style that Solomon Islands will have to cope with.
These friendly matches are part of Solomon Islands preparations for the Pacific Games and future competitions.
