ANOTHER accused has been remanded in custody on Tuesday in relation to the alleged murder of a man at China Town, Honiara, early this year.
Roy Fiuburua, 26, was charged with one count of murder.
His co-accused Silas Saru, 25, is already in custody since his remand on August 7, this year.
Both men will appear in the Honiara Magistrate Court again on September 4.
Police alleged that the two men were involved in a fight with the deceased on March 1, this year, at the George Wu area.
They were all drinking in the deceased’s room when an argument broke out between them of which the deceased came out of the house swearing.
It was alleged that as a result of the swearing Fiuburua attacked the deceased.
According to the brief facts, the deceased was then attacked by Silas Saru when he was running away from Fiuburua between the containers at the George Wu area.
Saru allegedly hold the deceased and hit his head against the container until the deceased fell down.
It was then that the two accused helped the deceased and with the help of another woman in that area poured water on his head.
Police further alleged that the deceased was taken to the National Referral Hospital the following day where he received treatment and later discharged.
On the evening of August 4, the deceased was brought back to the Hospital but died on the early hours the following day.
