Dear Editor – Can you please share my piece of information with our Government and for our public to discuss?
I read recently that Fiji is facing a severe shortage of timber and available logs for the rebuilding of home after the recent cyclone that badly damaged and left a lot of our fellow wantoks homeless.
I believe that we, through our Government, can look at exporting timber to Fiji, it will be cheaper for Fijians using the MSG arrangements and at the same time beneficial for Solomon Islanders exporting their own cut timber.
Tingting nomoa, but a win-win situation for our fellow Melanesian brothers and sisters.
Vinaka.
