Suidani thanks Malaita MPs for attending event
The Malaita Provincial Premier Daniel Suidani has thanked Malaitan leaders at the national level for their show of support towards the Malaita Sons and Daughter reconciliation ceremony.
Speaking to local media yesterday in Auki, Premier Suidani said the presence of some Malaitan Members of Parliament (MP) shows that they are truly representatives of the people of Malaita in good and bad times.
He said those Malaitan leaders who make every effort to attend the reconciliation ceremony have shown the true meaning of leadership and humility.
He is full of admiration for their show of support.
The premier earlier issued an appeal for Malaitan leaders from both provincial and national level to attend the reconciliation ceremony.
Malaita national leaders who showed up in Auki on Thursday to attend the program included; MP for Aoke Langa Langa and Opposition Leader Matthew Wale, MP for Small Malaita Rick Hou, MP for West Are’are John Maneniaru, and MP for Central Honiara Alfred Efona.
