The Australian Government has launched a new ‘Solomon Islands – Australia Partnership’ logo.
Australia’s Minister for International Development and the Pacific, the Hon Pat Conroy MP, officially announced the new logo at a reception jointly hosted by Australia’s High Commissioner to Solomon Islands, His Excellency Rod Hilton, and the President of the Solomon Islands Australia Alumni Association, Mr Ernest Teutao in Honiara last week.
The logo is designed to reflect the evolving Solomon Islands-Australia relationship.
The red kangaroo, the most recognised Australian Government symbol in Solomon Islands, is moving together, but in support of Solomon Islands national bird, the kurukuru.
High Commissioner Hilton said, Australia is proud to be Solomon Islands’ nambawan partner.
“We’re committed to working alongside Solomon Islands’ leaders to deliver impactful projects across Solomon Islands,” High Commissioner Hilton said.
“Every time you see this logo – you know our special partnership is at work.”
