THE Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, Peter Shanel Agovaka has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Vanuatu’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and External Trade, Matai Seremaiah Nawalu on a timebound Air Services between the two Melanesian states.
The signing was executed at the margins of the Forum Foreign Ministers meeting in Suva, Fiji, last Friday morning.
Minister Agovaka expressed another milestone has been reached in the Aviation sector through the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
He acknowledged the special bond that exists between the Republic of Vanuatu and Solomon Islands and applauded the deep friendship and the permanently geographical connectedness that bind the people of both countries together.
Minister Agovaka thanked the Deputy Prime Minister and the government of the Republic of Vanuatu, for their unwavering commitment to strengthening their country’s relationship with Solomon Islands.
