THE Solomon Islands Development Trust’s (SIDT) proposed election awareness programme will be rolled out throughout the country in August and not this month.
The programme was rescheduled to August due to delays from four provinces in preparing drama groups.
The four provinces that are yet to set up drama groups are Makira, Renbell, Choiseul and Western provinces.
Sei drama group team leader Jordy Toiraena said it is good to roll out the programme in the provinces at the same time.
Mr Toiraena said five other provinces with drama groups are now rehearsing the unbiased media script play.
Four members of SIDT from Sei drama group and the media will be deployed to the provinces today to visit and monitor drama groups and asses the progress.
SIDT is a renowned Non-Government Organisation in the country that apart from other activities, actively involves in election awareness programs through dramas.
