THE Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) has confirmed the date for the SIFF Elective Congress to be on Thursday June 22nd.
The congress will convene starting at 10am at a venue that is yet to be confirmed.
“The SIFF Executive Committee, in accordance with Article 30: paragraph 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the SIFF Statutes, resolved to convene the SIFF Elective Congress on Thursday June 22nd,” a statement from the SIFF CEO Leonard Paia stated.
The Secretariat hereby request Member Associations to nominate two delegates to represent them at the upcoming Elective Congress
The nominations for members of the SIFF Executive Committee for the upcoming Ordinary/elective congress opened as of yesterday May 9th and will close on May 22nd.
Positions which are currently open for nominations as stipulated under article 35(1) of the SIFF Statutes are, the President’s position, three vice president’s positions and five members positions, one of which shall be a female member.
Meanwhile Members Associations are advised that a one-day pre-congress will be held on Wednesday June 21st 2023 at the SIFF Conference room starting at 10am.
