SOLOMON Islands Scholarship will be closed on 31st January.
This was according to James Bosamata, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Education.
He was speaking at the first National Talkback Show at the SIBC on Sunday.
“Two more weeks left for you to apply because SIG Scholarship will close at 12 Midnight on 31st of January 2021.
“So, potential applicants where you like to apply for 2021 on SIG scholarships you have two more weeks before the scholarship due,” he said.
He said all potential applicants must apply online, the SIG scholarship was not like before where you will write on paper and hand it in.
It is now available online.
Thus, all scholarships are for in the country and not for outside countries.
“It will no longer before when you fill-up the form than hand it in.
“You must apply online, and take note those scholarships are for in-country only,” he said.
In meantime, all Schools will be started their academy year on the 25th of January 2021.
