The Sikua’s 2018 Cup successfully ended with prize presentation at the Christian Outreach Center in Balasuna, North East Central Guadalcanal yesterday.
The winner Geza A FC received a cash prize of $10,000 with gold medals and trophy while the runner up Balanga B received $7,000 with silver medals.
The second runner up Green Snail A returned home with a cash prize of $5,000 and bronze medals while Tayg FC went home with $3,000.
For the consolation prizes the fairest team was awarded to Ranco Kings FC of Tathilau and Blue Valley of Paripao.
The golden glove was awarded to Koltou Tomas of Gezar FC and Ashly Gethi of Tathilau.
For the golden boat awarded the prize was shared between Regie Pupuka of Tutumu FC and Robert Harrison of Blue Valley.
Team captain of Geza A Nicky Gogoni said his team is very happy to win the Sikua’s Cup.
He said it was through team spirit that they won the tournament.
