VISITORS arriving in the country were being welcomed with a free SIM card gift from Bmobile-Vodafone company upon arrival at the Henderson terminal.
This is part of the company’s promotion as the biggest network provider in the capital, Honiara.
The Solomon Star understands that, the promotion has started since the middle of last month.
“From the middle of November visitors arriving to the Happy Isles can get a free SIM card from bmobile-Vodafone so they can immediately start using our 3G+ services.
“So there is no need to worry about where to get a local SIM. Our visitors can arrive and immediately access the friendlier network.
“This is made possible through our partnership with terminal services,” a statement from the company stated.
Visitors can get a free SIM at the branded Bmobile-Vodafone kiosk directly outside the arrivals hall.
“This is also for any incoming international flight passenger returning citizens and visitors alike.
“All you need is your boarding pass to be presented at the terminal services booth in exchange for a free SIM card,” Christina Palusi Senior Sales Officer of Bmobile-Vodafone explains.
