During the tour the SINPF Board also took the opportunity that included a quick preview visit to the new Comprehensive Medical Centre (CMC), which will be commissioned this Friday.
In anticipation of this partnership, both parties will enter into further dialogue to discuss on next steps with one of the aims is to have a PPP framework formulated and in place that will guide the partnership arrangements.
A public-private partnership (PPP) in healthcare is a collaboration between a public entity and a private organization to improve healthcare services.
PPPs can involve a variety of functions, including financing, design, construction, maintenance, and operations.
PPPs is not new and is a concept that has been implemented globally and, in many countries, based on what is feasible and within the varying contexts.
