THE Solomon Islands National Teachers’ Association (SINTA) has completed its first action plan draft for 2015-2018 last week.
A statement from the association yesterday said, the action plan took SINTA officers three days to draft the plan.
“This action plan will be implemented so that the office will be working accordingly,” the statement added.
“The action plan mainly for the interest for union and its Members and likewise showing Government what they should do as another stake holder so as the Teachers themselves.
“It was more like guiding tools which set out what SINTA as a Union will achieve in the next four years,” it said.
The group who drafted this action plan included SINTA Secretariat, NEC and NECS.
“This was the draft and yet it will go through to the AGM the highest Decision body of SINTA before implemented,” the statement added.
