THE Solomon Islands National University (SINU) Centre for Distance and Flexible Learning (CDFL) will adopt a new learning mode this year.
This was confirmed by the SINU media, Monday last week.
“Due to the current widespread community transmission of Covid-19 around the country and in adhering to the Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS) health safety measures, the SINU – CDFL will be offering all of its classes through virtual mode or online mode this semester 1, 2022,” it stated.
It was reported that SINU will consider other learning mode of delivery based on case-by-case basis in a later date.
Therefore, current and new students when prepare for your tutorial classes are advised to take note of the following:
1. Start planning on how you will have an access to a smart mobile phone that have the capacity to install online apps (zoom, WhatsApp etc.).
2. Create an email address (Gmail) if possible, for those who do not have.
SINU will provide training for students on how to use all the proposed social network or online apps (Zoom, WhatsApp, Facebook, Gmail etc.) during the resume of their registration.
