Dear Editor – Regarding the SINU SAGA I would like to point out that the story from both parties should be published for the people of the nation to know what is really happening.
I’m aware that the VC from Fiji in a very short time did major improvements on the management of the university, he also found a major case of corruption at the HR office, once he fixed it the whole campus went against him with unproven allegations.
Another point to stress, the academic performance of the staff is low, which impacts the training of the future human resources of the country.
The call for re-application for contract extension for 200 staff was not a negative action as well, it aimed transparency and accountability.
Much more can be done if there is a will, but there is no will, only complaints and excuses. So please in behalf of the nation, publish also the say of the losers in the unfair war; It is known that they never expected a deportation; too many projects were paralyzed.
I worked abroad I know what is a good system. Leana
