SIX people have been arrested by Naha police in relation to the burglary incident over the weekend on Carpenters Hardware shop at Ranadi.
Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast said four suspects were arrested early in the morning the next day after the incident.
Mr Prendergast said two additional arrests were made on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
The Carpenters Hardware shop at Ranadi was broken into on Sunday night.
The burglars allegedly blindfolded the three security officers on-site before breaking their way in during which, they ransacked the shop.
The commissioner said the successful arrests were made with the help of members of the public but added that they are interested in some more people.
He thanked members of the public who assisted police which resulted in the arrests and appealed for continuous cooperation to ensure all suspects are arrested.
“We are grateful for the support we received from the public in relation to that incident, and if anyone has any more information on anyone suspected of involving in the incident, they should call the police.
