The Solomon Islands Political Parties Commission (SIPPC) has so far processed applications for registration from six political parties.
And the Commission’s Registrar, Calvin Ziru said three other political parties have submitted their applications for registration which are being processed.
While the Commission has released the names of the political parties whose applications for registration have been processed in the print media, it has not identified the three other applicants.
The six political parties are Kadere Party (SI), United Democratic Party, People’s Progressive Party, National Transformation Party of Solomon Islands, People’s Alliance Party, and Solomon Islands Pan-Melanesian Congress Party.
