Dear Editor – To those skeptics at home and overseas who have often cast dispersions on the actions of some local MPs, the gift of solar panels to the widows and disabled people of the Gegede community in East Central Guadalcanal by their Member of Parliament is a welcome and kind charitable act.
I very much hope that other MPs will aid their communities in a similar way and contribute to the well-being of the people they are voted into office to support.
I associate myself with Pastor Kuki in saying, ‘thank you.’ to the Member of Parliament.
