SOLOMON Breweries Limited has announced a sponsorship of SBD$1million dollars for the Pacific Games 2023.
The announcement was made Solbrew Corporate Affairs Manager, Qila Tuhanuku on Friday.
“We are coming onboard as a bronze sponsor and official supplier for the Games.
“Our total value of our Sponsorship will be SBD$1million.
“The Pacific Games is essentially an opportunity to celebrate other parts and aspects of Solomon Islands that we have not being able to look at in the last three years and that are our sports men and women and the next generation in sports.
“The spirit that Solbrew has behind this commitment is that, we feel it is both an honour and duty as a business that has been operating in Solomon Islands over 30 years now to support the Pacific Games,” Ms Tuhanuku said.
The Games organizing Committee Chairman, Martin Rara acknowledged the support from Solomon Breweries Limited.
“It is very encouraging to see Solbrew coming on board on this undertaking.
“Solbrew is the first organization to publically announce their sponsorship to the nation.
“On behalf of GOC and the National Hosting Authority (NHA), we really appreciate the support from Solomon Breweries Limited,” Rara said.
The sponsorship comes under the 2023 Games Sponsorship Package which consists of five Sponsorship Tiers, namely Presenting Partner, Gold Sponsor, Silver Sponsor, Bronze Sponsor and Official Supplier.
The sponsorship by Solomon Breweries falls under the Bronze Sponsorship.
