The Solbrew national invitational rugby 7s championship is set to kick off on during the Independence celebration.
A statement from the organisers said the games will be played throughout the long weekend on Saturday 5th July and Monday 7th July.
The championship is an open invitational to provincial unions namely; Bellona, Malaita, Western, Makira, West Rennell, East Rennell, Honiara and Guadalcanal.
The invitation is also extended to interested Honiara based registered clubs and Island teams who may wish to participate in the championship.
There are a total of 12 spots available to be filled for this championship so teams are urged to confirm participation at the earliest.
