As the 2014 Solo Icon program slowly itched up to its climax, the show is getting tougher and interesting.
The Solo-Icon singing contest now enters the semi-final stage.
There is evidence contestants are grooming up nervously but with authority as they all look for a place in the grand finale, which will be held on the 31st of August 2014 at the National Art Gallery grounds.
In the Icon category, the last seven contestants all battled it out for placement in the grand finale; all pushed their skills and talents to the edge to gain a little favour from the judges.
But the judges at the end of the show on Sunday decided Stony Sio, Jefthers, Roselyn Delma, and Willy Salu were the ones who booked tickets for the finals.
In the other categories which include the Star School Category, the schools that earned placements in the grand finale include: Florence Young, Bishop Epale, and Coronation.
In the Young Executive Category those who managed to pull through the competition are Lyah Paul, Hamish Lex, and Kirsty Mana.
Kirsty Mana is contesting in the Young Executive and also representing Florence Young.
She is from Makira. In the recent elimination rounds, she demonstrated some staring voice output that earned her position in the grand final.
All those who earned places in the grand finale are calling on their funs, schools and school mates, supporters, and family members to come out and support them in the final show down on.
The program is proudly supported by Australian High Commission and Global Youth Leadership Nexus.
