DAY four of the Solomon Cup on Tuesday saw two exciting matches with interesting results.
The first match on Tuesday featured Honiara Warriors and Central Shields.
Following their defeat against Isabel frigates, Honiara Warriors came back strong to register their first 3 points during the 1 pm match by thrashing Central Shields with a 7-0 scoreline margin.
It was a one-sided match which the City lads dominating the match.
The second match was between Isabel Frigates and Renbel ibis.
The result was unexpected to many fans following Isabel Frigates’ impressive win against Honiara Warriors.
However, Renbel Chiefs stunned the Isabel Frigates team and fans by holding them to a draw.
This means both teams shared a point each after the 4 pm match at Lawson Tama yesterday.
Two exciting matches are scheduled for this afternoon.
At 1 pm Temotu Arrows will take on Lauru Kuvojo.
While the main match of the day will see Malaita Eagles taking on the Western Tomoko.
Soccer fans are urged to turn up and support their teams.
Since day one of the competition many soccer fans and spectators have enjoyed watching the provincial teams in action.
The competition is expected to become tough as matches continue and intensify.
