The Solomon Islands Nurses’ Association (SINA) will host the 2016 South Pacific Nurses Forum in Honiara.
The 18th South Pacific Nurses Forum in the Tongan capital, Nukualofa had unanimously agreed that the Solomon Islands Nurses’ Association will host the 2016 South Pacific Nurses Forum in Honiara.
National Head of Nursing, Michael Larui presented at the Nukualofa Nurses Forum a joint bid on behalf of the Solomon Islands Nurses Association, the National Nursing Administration of the Ministry of Health and Medical Services, the Nursing Council of Solomon Islands and the School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences of the Solomon Islands National University.
Tonga Nurses Association moved the motion in support of Solomon Islands bid and Vanuatu seconded it.
No other country had put a bid to host the 2016 South Pacific Nurses Forum.
