SolRice Company Ltd has stepped in to provide assistance towards the Small Malaita Mini Games to be held in Walande Village from 19 – 23 December 2016.
Through this assistance, SolRice Company Ltd is making a large donation of the new product Solgood Long grain rice.
The SolRice Company Ltd in a statement to the Organizing Committee said, “we are very happy to support this event with this large donation.”
In response, the Walande Sports Organizing committee said they were very happy with this large donation from SolRice.
“This assistance is very timely as the Walande Sports organizing committees continues with its preparation towards hosting of this event. This support from SolRice Company Ltd will enable the Walande Sports Organizing Committee to be able to assist teams during the weeklong sports competition and for that, we are truly grateful and humbled by this timely and kind support from SolRice.”
The Sports committee is also reaching out to other business houses and individuals who are willing to support this event.
Registration for the SMMG was opened last week with a close of registration date set at 30 November 2016.
The registration fee is $500 per sport.
