The off 22 players and seven officials will travel via Australia to New Zealand where they will spend three days before the competition starts.
The U23 team will kick off their OFC Men’s Olympic Qualifiers on Monday against Vanuatu for their group B opening match.
Solympics Head Coach Eddie Marahare told media in a pre-departure press conference yesterday that the opening match is an important match.
He said the team aims for a win against Vanuatu which he described as probably the toughest in the group.
The competition will serve as a qualification for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France next year.
