SUVA, (FBC NEWS) – The South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) Board is expected to announce its new Chief Executive soon.
This follows the expiry of current CEO,Ilisoni Vuidreketi’s second term in office.
Responding to questions sent by FBC News SPTO says the Board is following a process and upon completion, it will announce the successful candidate in due time.
SPTO Marketing Manager Alisi Lutu is acting in the position.
Meanwhile 22 Fijian properties will be exhibited at the South Pacific Tourism Exchange at the Gold Coast this coming weekend.
A total of 80 wholesalers, travel agents and buyers from 12 countries will be attending the event.
The theme for this year’s event is supporting a resilient tourism industry that supports the livelihoods of our Pacific people in the midst of a rapidly changing global environment.
